MSC Cruises is offering 60 percent off Caribbean cruises for one week to residents of California, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington. The offer is good on select seven- and 10-night Caribbean sailings of MSC Orchestra and MSC Lirica for the 2008-09 winter season. Cruise-only rates on seven-night sailings begin at $399 per person, double occupancy, for an interior stateroom, $499 for an ocean-view, $699 for a balcony and $749 for a suite. The 10-night cruise-only rates begin at $599 for interior and $699 ocean-view. Government fees and taxes are additional, as is a fuel surcharge. The offer expires on Oct. 20. Resident Special rates are available on the MSC Lirica’s Dec. 13 seven-night Western Caribbean cruise with a Baseball Greats theme, 10-night Jan. 13 Caribbean and Panama cruise, and 10-night Deep Caribbean voyages departing Jan. 23 and Feb. 12. Also eligible for the discounts are the MSC Orchestra’s Jan. 10 and Jan. 24 departures (the latter also has a Baseball Greats theme) and a seven-night Feb. 21 Western Caribbean cruise.
